The MC2500 synthetic gun oil extends the life of the treated parts as well as how long it can be stored in a "ready to fire" state without having to be cleaned. The MC2500 is similar to the TW25B in its protective abilities, but it has a lower viscosity which will allow it to seep down into hard to reach places, thus eliminating the need for disassembly of such undesired locations (like in the trigger mechanism area, etc.).
